The beginnings of the TOMÁŠ capital group date back to 1991 when in October of this year TOMÁŠ group, spol. s r.o. was founded. The company's name is of historical interest because its headquarters is in the part of Ratíškovice, where the world-renowned businessman Tomáš Baťa founded a mine in 1933, which bears his name - Mine Tomas. The company followed up on the traditional mining industry, whose origins date back to the 1930s in South Moravia.
